As well as individual properties we currently manage a number of apartment blocks & complexes.
If you have properties you would like to transfer (either individual houses/apartments or a block) we will assign you a single point of contact who will manage the process for you.
Depending on your existing contract we can often transfer properties with tenants remaining in occupation, minimising void periods.
In the first instance please make contact with us in plenty of time before your current contract/tenancy agreement is due to end. This will give us time to prepare the paperwork, marketing material, photographs and organise the transfer of the management of your property to us in advance and will make the process as smooth as possible.
Once you have decided to switch, you will need to inform your current agent. We will then contact them and arrange for the transfer of the necessary paperwork (such as tenancy agreement, inventory, gas safety certificate, rent schedule, EPC) and management keys.
We will contact your tenants to introduce ourselves, let them formally know that we will now be managing the property and give them all the necessary information (new bank account details for rent payments, contact details for property maintenance).
It generally takes about 3-5 weeks for the completion of the transfer assuming no complications. Throughout the process we will do all the hard work for you making the switch to Prestige as pain free as possible for you and your tenants.
